About the Role
Based out of Park Ridge SE Queensland, an opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to join Palmer Acoustics and work with a team of dynamic and experienced engineering specialists.
This position is suitable for entry level/graduate engineers looking to begin their career in acoustics engineering.
This is an role that offers experience across all aspects of acoustics. We\'re looking for someone who is passionate about noise, sound, psychoacoustics, and environmental pollution.
An interest in Instrumentation, Data Analysis, Modelling & Reporting will be critical as it forms the basis of the role.
Your dedication, forward thinking approach, strong technical aptitude and customer focus will see you become an integral member of the team.
You will be required to provide support to the consultancy works currently being carried out in Queensland and S E Asia by the company\'s principal.
Your skills and experience
- Completed a Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related Science.
- Exposure to acoustics Instrumentation, Data Analysis, Modelling & Reporting.
- Understanding of acoustics and noise control.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings along with proficiency in CAD.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in a explicit concise manner.
- Time management skills and ability to deliver against deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills and customer focus.
- Motivated, committed, team-focused, honest and loyal.
