Main Duties / Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Manager to develop and implement strategies to maximize business, focusing on achieving revenue and market share targets year-round.
2. Develop business from existing channels and create new business development opportunities.
3. Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential business partners to drive group and corporate bookings across all properties.
4. Manage agreements with key government, corporate clients, and travel management companies.
5. Engage with clients at all levels through sales calls, presentations, virtual updates, and site inspections to increase sales.
6. Conduct telemarketing to local businesses to arrange corporate rates.
7. Prepare and present sales and marketing reports, including revenue forecasts, market analysis, and performance metrics to senior management.
Experience / Knowledge
1. Essential hotel industry experience.
2. Proven experience as a business development manager or in sales.
3. Customer support experience is a plus.
4. Understanding of brand protection and value growth.
5. Motivated, positive, and inspiring attitude.
6. Knowledge of the hospitality market.
