Hayes Family Wines is an award-winning fine wine producer based in Stone Well in the World Famous Barossa Valley. We are Certified Organic and Certified Sustainable. We are not your traditional wine company but being small and family owned we are extremely proactive and ideas driven. Our cellar door showcases the wines from our vineyards bringing our customers into the Estate Vineyard and Winery with every visit. We are focused on our customers with an unmistakable focus on quality at all times.

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate individual who cares about creating premium experiences and growing with our business.

The Customer Service Manager is a critical role within our very small and close knit team. The role has the responsibility to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our Barossa Cellar Door with the aim to increase wine sales and business revenue through a focus on customer experience. This involves running of the Cellar Door and engaging with our members, customers and community.

This position will work closely with the business team of winemaker and owners on creative planning and wine release timing. We are looking to take the experience for our customers to a new level with new ideas and innovation.

About you:

This hands-on role necessitates someone who is entrepreneurial and is energised by being part of an innovative team. You will thrive in a fast paced hospitality environment, be organized and cool headed.

The successful applicant will have strong self starter skills, as there will be quiet times when you need to develop and progress ideas for growth.

A sound knowledge of wines, and the skills to share this passion with the team and the guests is important. As is the willingness to learn and develop your industry knowledge and skills. Strong interpersonal skills for in-person and written communications are essential.

You will have strong skills using Microsoft office. Having a valid RSA, work Visa/citizenship and the ability to work weekends is essential, as is being physically fit and prepared to assist with general housekeeping duties as required.
