Safety Advisor Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our commitment to safety excellence. As a pivotal Safety Advisor, you will play a key part in shaping our organisation's approach to workplace health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and delivering proactive health and wellbeing strategies;
* Cultivating a strong safety culture;
* Ensuring our workplace practices consistently meet and exceed legislative requirements;
* Leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Safety Management System;
* Providing tactical strategies in WHS policy and procedures, psychosocial risk management, and safety compliance frameworks;
* Managing and delivering targeted safety training;
* Advising leadership on legislative obligations, incident management, investigations, lessons learned, contractor safety, high-risk, and emergency planning;
* Overseeing WHS governance documentation, performance monitoring, and reporting, analytics and trends for leadership and committee meetings;
* Championing a culture of openness, accountability, and continuous learning across the team;
* Supporting field operations in Safety and HSR's to promote collaboration and consultation to achieve targets and outcomes;
* Positively and proactively supporting digital systems implementation and training to support knowledge for ensuring standardised reporting;
* Leading system audits, compliance assessments, and performance reviews to ensure safety outcomes are visible and continuously improved.
