We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our team in a vibrant river town offering excellent water sports, golf, and Murray River food and wine.
Job Description
You will be working in a tier 3 accredited Emergency Department alongside an experienced group of FACEMs, ACEM, rural generalist doctors, ACRRM specialists and GP trainees. The department sees a varied casemix with approximately 30,000 annual presentations and 20% paediatric cases. Your primary responsibilities will include the efficient assessment and treatment of patients presenting to the emergency department.
The Ideal Candidate
* Strong background in Emergency Medicine with experience as an EM registrar;
* Familiarity with Locum roles or similar casual positions;
* Possession of necessary skills for patient care including communication abilities;
