The Role
We're looking for a proactive, professional and detail‐driven Butcher and 2IC to join our busy team at Farmgate to Plate Burraneer.
This role will see you working across retail service and back‐of‐house preparation, with the chance to work interstore at our sister venues. Weekend availability is essential.
You'll enjoy working closely with our Operations Manager and wider team in an environment where premium, seasonal and house‐made produce is our focus, and delivering an exceptional customer experience is the priority.
We currently have full time and part‐time positions available, offering flexibility for the right candidates.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your role will include meat preparation and portioning, maintaining display presentation, customer service and assisting with value‐added products whilst upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Successful applicants will be well presented, reliable team players with strong attention to detail, solid knife skills, and a genuine passion for quality produce and customer service.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as a Butcher/2IC
* Ability to work within and lead a team, working well under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work across a rotating roster across the week
* Ability to work without supervision your own section delivering consistency, high standards and organisation
* Food hygiene, knowledge and compliance
