About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join a busy operations team based in Milton.

This role is responsible for processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries, and working closely with scheduling teams to ensure on-time service. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring accurate data entry and efficient communication across the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within internal systems
* Communicate with customers to confirm orders, delivery times, and updates
* Coordinate with scheduling teams to meet delivery requirements and optimise load sizes
* Liaise with internal stakeholders including supervisors, account managers, and site teams
* Monitor deliveries and proactively manage any disruptions or changes
* Maintain strong product and service knowledge to support customer enquiries
* Work to KPIs and performance targets across service and operations
* Support continuous improvement and assist team members where required
* Handle customer concerns professionally and elevate where necessary
* Maintain compliance with safety and workplace procedures
About You
* Previous experience in a customer service or operations support role
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations
* Proficient computer skills and experience with data entry systems
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Understanding of scheduling or logistics (highly regarded)
* Confident in handling challenging customer interactions
