The Position
A newly opened private billing general practice in Melbourne's bayside region is looking for GPs to join its growing team. With strong patient demand, excellent support, and the option to also work across nearby urgent care clinics, this is an ideal role for GPs seeking flexibility, autonomy, and a professional, well-resourced environment.
The clinic
This clinic operates independently but is connected to a broader group of urgent care centres across Melbourne. GPs benefit from a steady flow of patients, full-time nursing support, and centralised administrative and operational backing. The practice uses Best Practice software and has a modern, purpose-built fit-out.
The Location
Located in one of Melbourne's desirable southern bayside suburbs, the practice is positioned in a vibrant, community-focused area with a diverse, largely middle-to-high-income patient base. The area offers excellent transport links, schools, coastal access, and lifestyle amenities.
Essential Criteria
FRACGP or equivalent
AHPRA specialist registration
Patient-centred approach and interest in long-term practice growth
Eligibility to work in Australia
The Package
70% of billings
Possibility to come on as a locum at $200 per hour
Minimum guarantee for the first 3 months
Item 23 (standard consult) is billed at $98
Average 4 patients per hour
Estimated daily earnings : $1,917 / day (7 hours x 4 patients x $98 x 70%)
Option to work in both general practice and urgent care settings
Nursing and admin support onsite
