About The Opportunity
Campbelltown Hospital is undergoing rapid growth. The position is for an experienced hospital pharmacist aiming to offer advanced pharmacy practice service and engage in a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to a clinical ward
Ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication management
Actively engage in clinical governance, research, and education
Promote stewardship, and support quality care
Mentor staff, collaborate with teams, and support continuous improvement
What You'll Be Doing
The Grade 2 Pharmacist role includes provision of clinical pharmacy services to the nominated clinical sub-specialty area, Dispensary duties as required, promotion of safety and quality in drug therapy, participation in quality improvement and professional development, and contribution to education and supervision of staff and students.

Full Pharmacy Registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice. A minimum of 3 years' hospital pharmacy experience AND EITHER
A minimum of 12 months experience as a clinical pharmacist in the nominated specialty area OR
Relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in the nominated specialty area.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with hospital staff and patients
Judgement and independence in problem solving
Clinical drug knowledge with experience applying it in clinical settings, including development or review of medication policies
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams, with participation in clinical meetings and rounds
Ability to promote teamwork and supervise pharmacy staff
Strong organisational and time management skills
Contribution to quality assurance activities
Experience in teaching programs with other pharmacists, nursing staff, or other health care providers
