The Opportunity:
1. 12 month contract (covering parental leave)
2. Full time (may consider 4 days)

4. This is an opportunity to join an organisation in their standalone Employment team
5. You will have a few direct reports and while there is some traffic directing, this role is very much "on the tools"

Job overview/skills needed:
7. Experienced Employment lawyer - the work is external facing rather than BAU internal issues so relevant experience of dealing with litigation is necessary
8. Ability to work with the Australian and NZ arm of the business (NZ law experience not necessary)
9. Ability to manage external facing issues, including an understanding of the issues and recent reforms affecting the "gig" economy
10. Ability to work autonomously and prioritise
11. Ability to be a doer and confident being on the tools
12. A minimum of 10 years' experience
13. The ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
14. A current practising certificate
