Job Description
We currently have multiple opportunities for trade qualified Spray Painters to join our advanced manufacturing site located in Port Melbourne on a full‐time permanent basis. External candidates will be offered a $5,000 sign‐on bonus.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for sealant application, product preparation and painting of various parts and products within the paint shop.
Position Responsibilities
* Prepare and paint aircraft parts following quality, safety, and process specifications using hand and pneumatic tools.
* Follow quality instructions and detailed drawings through various computer systems.
* Operate and monitor spray booths, ovens, and mixing processes in a production environment.
* Maintain housekeeping, comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
* Trade qualification as a Spray Painter is essential & experience in spray painting onto various substrate materials in a high‐quality environment.
* General knowledge of safety procedures and strong advocate of EH&S.
* Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Additional Information
This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as an Aerospace Tradesperson 1. Candidates will be required to complete background checks and successfully complete a 3‐month probationary period.

Trade/Vocational or Equivalent Required.
