About the role The CNC Machinist/CAM Programmer will use CAM to create complex toolpaths to ensure parts are manufactured to the required specification. The CNC Machinist must also perform troubleshooting of the machines to ensure they are functioning optimally. CNC Machinists are required to review & validate CAM programs & manufactured parts by CMM inspection. Responsibilities: CAM Programming, creation of complex CAM strategies, set up and safe operation of CNC machines and other precision machining equipment Mould/tool/ & equipment manufacturing, machining, finishing, assembly, & testing. Support the Projects teams to define performance specifications or functional requirements for new tooling projects. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation on all assigned tasks, as and when required. Follow process and work instructions to ensure safe, repeatable & quality results. Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable processes Qualifications and Skills 5 years CNC machining experience. Qualifications in CNC programming, Toolmaking, Machining, or Engineering. Minimum 4 years in a Toolmaking environment, with direct & relevant experience in CNC programming.
