Job No.:687591Location:Parkville campusEmployment Type:Full-timeDuration:1 year fixed-term appointmentRemuneration:$83,280 - $113,025 pa Level A (plus 17% employer superannuation)Opportunity This Research Fellow position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to NHMRC-funded research programs focused on G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signalling and translational pharmacology. Working within the GPCR EcoPharmacology Laboratory at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS), and in collaboration with leading neurovascular research teams, you will join a multidisciplinary research environment spanning receptor pharmacology, intracellular signalling, and disease-relevant cellular models.The successful candidate will perform in vitro pharmacological and biochemical assays, including cell-based signalling assays and downstream pathway analysis.About YouA PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline.Strong hands‐on experience in molecular pharmacology, preferably GPCR‐focused.Solid understanding of receptor pharmacology.Evidence of high‐quality publications and independent research capabilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Experience with primary cell culture.Interest in translational drug discovery.About Monash University At Monash, work feels different.
