About the Role
We are on the lookout for someone with very strong technical marine knowledge, to deliver administrative and hands-on technical support to owners, dealers and service providers.
Whilst this role is primarily office-based in our world-class manufacturing facility in Coomera QLD, there is a requirement for this role to also travel and be "on the tools" at times. This may include travel to marinas, service yards, and customer locations, in domestic and international locations.
The successful candidate will be solutions focused - a proactive problem solver, with a natural ability to identify and rectify problems.
Responsibilities
* Regular travel to marinas, service yards, and customer locations, domestic and international locations.
* Hands-on technical support both in the field and remotely.
* A mix of technical troubleshooting, customer interaction, and coordination.
* Attend and support vessel handovers, including owner training and system walkthroughs.
* Travel to visit vessels for inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
* Assist external service agents and dealers with technical issues.
* Troubleshoot a wide range of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
* Coordinate repairs with internal trades and external contractors, both on-site and remotely.
* Support process improvements by providing field feedback to the production and design teams.
* Arranging parts for shipment.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Trade qualified (preferred) or minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the marine industry.
* Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems, including: CZone Digital Switching, Mastervolt systems, NMEA 2000 networks, and Garmin and Raymarine navigation systems.
* Broad knowledge of boat systems including engineering, plumbing, and vessel operations]
* Experience with Riviera boats is highly regarded

* Able to work independently, manage travel and time effectively
* Confident communicator, comfortable working directly with customers and dealers
* Skilled in fault finding and resolving issues under time pressure
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
* Strong problem-solving skills
