We are a young, vibrant and growing commercial building company, looking to expand our work force in order to facilitate growth of the business and maintain current demand. We specialise in industrial commercial projects varying between $2-$15m, specialising in the Design & Construct market.
About the role
We are looking for an energetic, hands on, supervisor to manage anything from a fast paced commercial building including fit-out to a $15m greenfield site. You pick things up easily and enjoy working through challenges to find the best solution. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able think in front of all the trades. You will have a comprehensive understanding of current WHS & E legislation and be able to implement company policies and procedures on your site.
Requirements of the role;
* Polished and professional communication skills
* Minimum 7+ years commercial construction experience, preferably a Site management role
* Co-ordination of subcontractors and site personnel
* Issue site instructions and other correspondence as required to subcontractors and consultants
* Committed to following safety policies and procedures
* Strong knowledge of construction methodology
* Good word processing, outlook and excel spreadsheet knowledge
* Proven track record of optimum results for project time, cost and quality
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* White card and first aid certified
* Current supervisors registration or building work contractor's license (Desirable)
* Competent in conflict and crisis management
* Desire to grow within a small company in line with the core values and culture that has been established
