Job Description:
As a senior executive, you will lead and manage the Commemorations and War Graves Branch within the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Your primary responsibility will be to administer matters concerning war graves and commemorative activities both within and outside Australia.
The successful candidate will provide high-level policy advice to the Deputy Secretary, Veteran, Family and Stakeholder Experience, and as required, to the Minister and other key stakeholders.
You will be expected to build mutually beneficial relationships with the ex-service community, other stakeholders, and international partners while ensuring that Australia's interests are effectively represented.

As a statutory office holder, you will be appointed under section 5(1) of the War Graves Act 1980.
Eligible candidates must successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check and obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 (AGSVA) security clearance.
Successful applicants will be subject to a probation period.
