We are currently looking for a Production Planner to join our team at our Carole Park site, playing a key role in ensuring efficient production planning and delivering finished goods to customers in full and on time.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and acting as a key liaison between internal teams and customers.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner who enjoys end-to-end visibility across supply chain operations and thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
* Develop and manage 4-week production plans and 12-week outlooks to support demand and capacity planning
* Coordinate with Operations, Engineering and Quality to factor in constraints and disruptions
* Monitor schedule attainment and adjust plans in real time to meet business needs
* Drive DIFOT performance, optimise batch sizing and reduce inefficiencies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner closely with Demand Planning and Materials Planning to align forecasts and ensure material availability
* Work with Procurement on supply risks, expedites and trade-offs
* Engage with internal stakeholders to support operational and planning decisions
Customer & Order Management
* Process and manage customer orders accurately in SAP
* Maintain customer portals and proactively communicate on order changes or risks
* Participate in customer planning and review meetings
* Track and report on key metrics including inventory levels, DIFOT, schedule attainment and stock risks
* Identify opportunities to improve service, cost and inventory optimisation
* Support ongoing improvements in planning processes and systems
Reporting & Continuous Improvement

About You
* 5+ years' experience in FMCG supply chain / production planning
* Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, S&OP, demand planning and end-to-end supply chain processes
* Advanced SAP and Excel skills
* Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
