We are seeking a motivated and detail‐driven Tax Consultant to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of our tax compliance and statutory reporting. This position requires 1-2 years of tax experience and is open to Australian citizens only.
About the Role
Reporting to the Investment & Treasury Analyst, you will support a wide range of tax and financial reporting activities across the Group. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with year‐end tax planning, trial balance reviews, and preparation of distribution and dividend documentation.
* Preparing tax provisions, special purpose financial statements, and income tax returns.
* Managing information requests and tax queries from external advisors and supporting ATO reviews and audits.
* Ensuring all tax lodgements and payments are completed accurately and on time.
* Assisting with land tax matters, family entity compliance and other ad‐hoc tax considerations.
* Supporting audit processes, reconciliations, year‐end journals and financial statement reviews.
* Maintaining and updating tax governance documentation, internal controls testing files and tax risk registers.
* Partnering with the wider Finance team on projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You

* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field.
* CPA/CA (completed or in progress) is highly regarded.
* Experience in tax compliance, tax consulting or accounting within a corporate or professional services environment.
* Strong technical tax knowledge and research capability.
* Excellent attention to detail, documentation standards and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to high ethical standards.
* Proficiency with accounting systems and tax reporting tools.
