**About the role **- 12 month Maximum Term **C**ontract **30.4 hours per week** (0.8 FTE) **with working days/hours to be negotiated**
The Quality Officer provides operational support within the Practice Excellence and Quality team at Baptist Care SA and will be responsible for conducting tasks related to accreditation, compliance, and continuous quality improvement. Reporting to the Senior Quality Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for working with operational Managers to ensure compliance with relevant quality and contractual standards to enable Baptist Care SA to be an innovative and high-quality agency, with a clear client focus.
- Reporting to the Senior Quality Officer, duties include but are not limited to:_
- Support the accreditation and Department for Child Protection licensing processes to ensure Baptist Care SA are meeting the required standards
- Support the co-ordination of accreditation visits by auditors with relevant service programs as required
- Support the analysis and review of client data, reporting to relevant internal stakeholders and committees as required
- Work with the Practice Excellence and Quality team to carry out quality assurance and improvement activities as required.

- Assist the Senior Quality Officer with gathering evidence, reporting, administration duties and the monitoring of timeframes.

**About you**:
You will bring prior experience of working in the community services' sector supporting continuous quality improvement activities. You will have the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders, internal and external alike. You will be able to work with competing priorities, have strong attention to detail and work autonomously whilst sharing your enthusiasm in the workplace. You will be an advocate for change and improvement; restorative practice will be at the forefront of everything you do.
- You will also bring to the role:_
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Social Science, Community Services, Psychology, Social Work)
- Strong attention to detail with project management and organisational skills
- Previous experience in service delivery in the Community Services sector
- Previous experience in the not-for-profit charitable sector
- Ability to understand and research legislation, policy, and quality principles
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
