As a member of the school's wellbeing team, this role is responsible for delivering student support services, encompassing attendance, engagement and mental health. You will collaborate with students and staff to create an environment that fosters physical, emotional, social and intellectual development and wellbeing.
This role involves:
* Providing pastoral care and guidance to students on values and ethical matters
* Sourcing suitable services to meet student needs, including referrals to community services
* Supporting students and staff to promote cooperation and mutual respect, and understanding diversity within cultures and traditions
* Offering informal support during recess and lunch breaks
* Collaborating with teachers on behavioural support for individual students
* Delivering workshops to students on social skills and resilience
You will also be responsible for maintaining regular communication with management, reporting leave and incidents, and remaining familiar with national guidelines and policies.
