Leaders in the tower crane & hoist industry, is seeking an experienced PAYROLL / OFFICE ASSISTANT.

This is a hands-on, broad role working within a small accounts and payroll team. Your duties will incorporate the following areas, but you'll ultimately be supporting both the Finance Manger & Operations Manager in a range of duties.

This position will require you to wear many hats and utilize your excellent organizational and communication skills. You will be a confident professional who thrives within a fast paced, everchanging environment that will require you to adapt and reprioritize depending on business needs.

Key duties include:

* Payroll Officer - coordinate end-to-end payroll administration and processing
* HR Documentation Administration
* Health & Safety Documentation Administration
* Staff Training Documentation Administration
* Plant & Equipment Servicing Documentation Administration
* Assist Finance Manager and Operations Manager with general duties
* Various ad-hoc reporting and data recording

To be successful for this position, you will have;

* Ideally 2 years' experience in a similar position - looking to take the next step up in your career
* Qualification in administration or similar is preferrable
* Full function payroll and general accounting experience is preferrable
* Previous experience working in a payroll role would be highly desirable
* IT savviness with experience with computerized payroll software and reporting systems, excel spreadsheets and accurate word and numerical data entry
* Professional work approach with excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal;

This position may be fulfilled in a Full Time or Part Time (minimum 32 hours per week) capacity. We offer flexible working arrangements. Office is located in Darra, Brisbane.
