About Us
Good Food Distributors is a proud Australian owned family company established in 1994. We are a wholesale and distribution company that manufactures portion meat products on site for both the Foodservice and Retail markets. We are brand holders for Primo Smallgoods, Lavazza Coffee, San Pellegrino, Hunter Gold, Reserve & Signature meat and many others. We range poultry, cheeses, meats, smallgoods, seafood, mineral waters, juices, beer, wine and much more. We supply to foodservice and retail sectors.
Key Accountabilities
* Building new business while maintaining existing accounts
* Achieve targeted levels of call rates, coverage, distribution, trade spend, product mix and volume
* Develop plans formulated and executed in conjunction with Sales Manager
* Conduct performance reviews and 1:1s and document outcomes
* Meet KPIs in a timely manner and identify/activate continuous improvement areas as set by Sales Manager
* Execute sales strategies as outlined at cycle meetings and any state-based initiatives to achieve annual targets for nominated customer accounts
Qualifications & Experience
* Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills with a broad customer base
* Proven sales experience in managing customer accounts and growing the business
* Ability to prioritise workload and be self-motivated
* Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously
* Aptitude for working with computers and quickly learning internal systems
* Professional personal presentation
* Previous Meat, Smallgoods, Wine and/or Coffee sales experience is an advantage
* Experience with CRM, Microsoft Office and other sales-related programs
* Ability to build trust and customer loyalty
Tasks & Other Accountabilities
* Maintain an existing customer base while focusing on new business growth
* Achieve sales KPIs and meet quarterly targets
* Develop new business opportunities to increase sales
* Create and maintain customer pricing and margins
* Identify, develop and manage new growth areas
* Work cooperatively within a busy sales team
* Manage self to achieve call rate, coverage, distribution, trade spend, product mix and volume targets
* Plan a geographically defined territory to deliver efficient service and maximize time
* Demonstrate teamwork and take on additional responsibilities as required
