RSL Queensland (RSLQ)

RSL Queensland is the largest ex‐service organisation in Queensland – providing practical support, assistance and camaraderie to veterans, current service members and their families across the state and nationally.

The Veteran Services department is embedded in the veteran and Defence community, delivering extensive services and support that helps veterans and their families in Queensland and nationally to thrive.

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Performance & Improvement, the Process & System Specialist manages projects and initiatives to improve operational performance for improved efficiency, productivity, user experience and overall business performance. As a key member of the Strategy & Service Enablement team, accountabilities include (though are not limited to):

* Lead and support department business improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and goals.
* Conduct process analysis to assess current process workflows, systems, and methodologies, identifying areas for enhancement to streamline processes, reduce administrative burden, and improve efficiency.
* Develop process documentation, workflows, models, knowledge articles and guidance documentation.
* Participate in regular decomposition, sprint planning, showcases and daily stand‐up sessions.
* Support the internal development team where projects require a CRM solution by contributing to requirements gathering, solution design, implementation and post‐go‐live support and more.
About you
* Experience as a Process or Business Analyst for a minimum of 3 years.
* Degree in Business Process Management or Business Analytics.
* Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops effectively to gather requirements and develop and implement new processes.
* Excellent interpersonal skills paired with the ability to get things done in a high‐pressure, fast‐paced environment.
* Prior experience with business process modelling tools/software and O365 suite (incl. Visio).
* Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and navigate a fast‐paced environment, keeping focused on delivering value.
