**About the role**
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading, and providing support, direction and inspiration to the Team Members in your store. at the same time, you will be in charge of training on customer service excellence; communicating the company strategies and objectives, as well as guidance and coaching around personal development, merchandising and store operating standards.
**Responsibilities** include**
- Setting and implementing sales initiatives.
- Ensure Sales and Margin targets are met and exceeded
- Manage stock levels, Inventory movement & loss prevention
- Manage Team performance, development and engagement
- Training, mentoring and coaching Team Members on providing exceptional product knowledge and ongoing sales development.
**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience as a Store Manager.
- Industry-related experience (flooring, hardware, building, bathroom ware or similar) will be highly regarded.
- Business development experience
- Strong retail, sales and service skills.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed team sales targets
- Superior communication skills at all levels with the ability to engage others.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Relentless focus on growth, performance, and accountability.
