This is more than an administration role; it's an opportunity to support people when they need it most.

As a Cemeteries & Administration Officer, you will work closely with the community, including individuals and families experiencing loss. You will provide support, guidance and clear information during what can be a deeply emotional time, helping ensure every interaction is handled with dignity, care and respect, while contributing to the upkeep and administration of spaces that honour and respect those who have passed.

Alongside this, you'll play a key role in delivering essential administrative services that keep our cemeteries operations running smoothly, accurately and in line with legislation.

You will also be part of a broader team committed to creating positive community outcomes, providing valuable administrative support across the wider team. This includes assisting during peak periods, supporting service requests, and contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of services more broadly.

* Working collaboratively with volunteers, stakeholders and internal teams
* Contributing to projects, audits and continuous improvement initiatives

You bring a genuine sense of care to your work and understand the importance of getting things right, especially when people are relying on you during difficult times.

You are calm, respectful and able to communicate with empathy, while still ensuring processes are followed and information is clear and accurate. You know how to balance compassion with professionalism.

You're organised and adaptable, comfortable managing a mix of administrative tasks and community interactions. You take pride in your work, support your team, and are motivated by making a positive difference in people's experiences.
