In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team to assist in the establishment of a new enterprise assurance function at Transport for NSW.
This role will see you lead the design and implementation of the enterprise assurance function, including assurance strategies, frameworks, systems and Executive reports from the ground up, while embedding a culture of robust risk and control awareness. You will build and develop a high-performing team, establish processes, and create efficiencies in a dynamic and complex environment. This is a two-year fixed-term opportunity offering significant scope to shape the function and influence organisational outcomes.
You will pioneer new ways of delivering assurance and risk management, sell the value of your work to senior stakeholders, and secure buy-in for critical projects in a challenging, high-profile context.
This position is a temporary full-time opportunity until June 2027.

About you
Your leadership and management skills, formed across enterprise risk, internal audit and assurance, sectors, will see you excel in building process and capability from scratch, overcoming integration challenges, and delivering frameworks that align with better practice and standards.
You're recognised as a strategic influencer and team builder, skilled at developing enterprise assurance programs and engaging stakeholders, experienced in enterprise risk management, auditing, and assurance within large, complex organisations.
Candidates with relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications (CPA, RMIA, IIA) will be highly regarded.
