ABOUT THE POSITION
Sell & Parker is looking for a experienced Machine Operator to join our operations Team in Banksmeadow. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner and performing a variety of tasks to assist in the day-to-day operation of the yard. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team.
ABOUT YOU
* Proven experience in Metal, Manufacturing or Mining Industry, desirable but not essential.
* Experience in excavators and/or material handlers.
* Knowledge of operational characteristics of a variety of heavy equipment.
* Knowledge of maintenance requirements of heavy equipment.
* Proven experience performing a variety of skilled construction and maintenance tasks.
* Experience in manual handling.
* Current forklift licence, or willing to obtain.
* High level organisation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens).
* Currently have the right to work in Australia.
* Pass a Police Check.
HOURS
* Monday to Friday6:45 am to 4:30pm
* Saturday as required
