The role of Game Development Trainee encompasses key responsibilities within the Participation and Community Football departments.
This full-time opportunity includes a traineeship with a salary, fully funded Certificate III in Business qualification, and dedicated employment support from an Employment Coach and mentor for First Nations candidates.
Main Responsibilities
* To deliver and lead AFL programs in schools and community venues effectively.
* Mentor and support new casual staff during onboarding process.
* Communicate key messages with participants, parents, and schools efficiently.
* Liaise with teachers, schools, and stakeholders to identify and create new opportunities.
* Support junior club Auskick centres with recruitment, volunteers, coaching, and promotion.
* Provide administrative support for community football competitions, club development, and local football events.
Key Requirements
Successful candidates should have good communication, time management, and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality programs.
Candidates should also be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with great attention to detail.
