Domestic Student Recruitment Specialist
The Domestic Student Recruitment Specialist plays a crucial role in building robust relationships with targeted secondary schools and implementing student recruitment initiatives to achieve strategic growth goals.
* Manage the work of team members to provide relevant information and services to future students and stakeholders.
* Develop and strengthen existing and new relationships with key feeder and target secondary schools across the region.
* Plan and implement high-quality student recruitment events, including campus open days and school-based initiatives, to drive applications for the Mildura campus.
* Recruit students into La Trobe's Aspire Early Entry Programs and Pathways across the Mildura Campus area.
* Represent the University at selected recruitment activities and exhibitions.
* Present information to various audience types, including Year 10-12 secondary school students, TAFE students, Career Advisors/Teachers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
* An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of relevant knowledge and experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively in small teams.
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects and events.
* Excellent presentation and public speaking ability with experience in tailoring communications to different audiences.
* Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours on occasion.
