ERSEA Specialist Role Summary
The ERSEA Specialist plays a vital role in promoting the mission of ABCD Head Start & Children's Services by ensuring the accurate collection, entry, and maintenance of data related to the application, eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment and Selection: Actively participate in creating and implementing the program's recruitment plan, plan and facilitate recruitment events, maintain connections with community agencies, and provide information regarding program eligibility requirements.
* Enrollment and Eligibility: Communicate with potential families, collect and process documents, ensure income calculation and verification is accurate, schedule and meet with families to complete the intake process, and input application and communication into the database system.
* Attendance and Participation: Monitor and prepare reports on attendance analysis, compare and reconcile attendance reports, and provide frequent face-to-face, phone, and written communication with families.
* Utilize Information and Technical Systems: Provide timely ERSEA reports, maintain a comprehensive record keeping system, perform detailed data entry work, and provide assistance to program staff with information relative to ERSEA.
* Additional Job Responsibilities: Assist with administrative needs, attend required meetings and trainings, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
* ERSEA Specialist I: Up to 12 months of experience and a high school diploma or equivalent and 21 credits towards a relevant degree.
* ERSEA Specialist II: Up to 12 months of experience and AA/AS in Human Services or a related field.
* ERSEA Specialist III: Up to 12 months experience and a BA/BS in Human Services or a related field.
