This role involves both independent technical ownership and close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.
Job Description
* Provide expert technical services including administration, monitoring, maintenance, support and advice across one or more technologies.
* Lead and implement complex technical activities as part of both operational work and project delivery.
* Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with technical teams and escalating where appropriate.
* Contribute to continuous improvement through developing technical/process documentation, sharing knowledge, and supporting team capability uplift.
A Successful Technical Specialist Should Have
* Relevant qualifications in technology or a related field.
* Strong technical problem-solving skills.
* Experience working in the public sector or a similar environment.
* Excellent understanding of technology systems and processes.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
