Your new role
As a Mechanical Engineer / Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical building services design solutions across a diverse project portfolio. You will work closely with internal project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to develop efficient, compliant, and sustainable HVAC and mechanical systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing mechanical building services systems including HVAC, ventilation, and associated services
Producing detailed design documentation and engineering calculations
Coordinating with electrical, hydraulic, and architectural disciplines
Participating in client meetings and contributing to design reviews
Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction and commissioning
What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Experience working within an engineering consultancy or D&C contractor environment
Exposure to HVAC and mechanical services design for building projects
Experience running or contributing to design meetings and client liaison is advantageous, but not essential
Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Clear written and verbal communication skills
