About the role
PMW Industries is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior HR Advisor to join our dynamic team, providing support to the Operations Manager.
In this full-time role, you will be based in our Midland, WA office and play a crucial part in delivering the organisation's HR strategy and initiatives in line with company policies and procedures.
What you'll be doing
Providing expert HR advice and support to managers, coordinators, and employees across the organisation
Engaging with internal and external business leadership team to understand their HR needs
Managing employee relations, including investigating grievances and disciplinary matters
Working with business stakeholders to address and enhance employee engagement and development
Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
Maintaining and improving HR policies, processes, and systems
End-to-end recruitment activities
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in a generalist HR advisory role, ideally within the mining services industry
Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HR information systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships
Proven track record in managing employee relations cases and implementing HR initiatives
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
Tertiary qualification in human resources, employee relations, or a related field
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screen
Hold, or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance valid within 12 months
