Role Overview
Work within the statutory framework of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 and the Resource Management and Planning System of Tasmania. Responsibilities include coordinating and undertaking environmental assessments of relevant activities, conducting policy research, analysis, development, review, and contributing to effective environmental policy and legislative frameworks.

Hours per Fortnight
73.50 hours, with a minimum of 58.80 hours by negotiation
Qualifications and Experience
* A degree in Science, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
* Understanding of environmental management related to industries such as mining, waste management, renewable energy, etc., is advantageous.
* Knowledge of relevant Commonwealth environmental legislation is desirable.
