We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Responsibilities
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and maintain organized records of all financial transactions.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and following up on outstanding invoices.
General Ledger Maintenance: Support the preparation and maintenance of general ledger entries and reconcile accounts as needed.
Financial Reporting: Help prepare basic financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Bank Reconciliations: Conduct routine bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and report on company expenses and assist in controlling budget variances.
Compliance and Auditing: Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and participate in internal and external audits when necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Positive organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
