Main Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency and critical care patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Collaborate with veterinarians during diagnostic procedures, treatments, and surgeries, adhering to the highest standards of patient care.
* Monitor and manage patient conditions, including post-operative care, and respond to emergencies efficiently.
* Maintain effective communication with the veterinary team, pet owners, and specialists to ensure seamless patient care.
* Precision is key when maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting is preferred.
* Strong technical nursing skills, including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and emergency response.
* Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, adapting to the dynamic nature of emergency and critical care.
