About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team at Heritage Auto Group in Lilydale, Victoria. As a full-time Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets for our expanding range of new vehicles.
What you'll be doing
* Provide personalised sales support and guidance to customers throughout the buying process
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, features, and pricing
* Effectively showcase and demonstrate our vehicles to potential customers
* Follow up on customer inquiries and convert leads into sales
* Achieve individual and team-based sales targets
* Provide exceptional post-sale customer support and follow-up
* Contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the dealership
What we're looking for
* Minimum 6 months of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the automotive industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service
* Excellent product knowledge and the ability to educate and inform customers
* Confident and enthusiastic approach to sales, with a genuine passion for the automotive industry
* Strong negotiation and closing skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
