What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Construction Manager to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in South Australia supporting our Delivery Team. This role is critical to the delivery of key telecommunication fibre infrastructure project across SA.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
* Ensure good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders are maintained
* Strong and effective leadership skills
* Interacting with the pre-contracts team in assisting with tendering, methodology, scheduling and cost estimating
* Internal and external project reporting
* Ability to manage construction phases of large, complex, turnkey infrastructure Construction projects
* Manage internal self-perform and subcontractor resources
* Coordinating project delivery activities to achieve project time, budget and quality objectives.
How you'll connect to the role:
* Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or other relevant field
* Strong self-perform experience, running multi-disciplinary crews (locating, non-destructive digging, dig/lay, drilling, links, pit install, reinstatement, etc...) on multiple work fronts
* Demonstrated experience establishing resource plans and ramping up workforce accordingly
* Demonstrated experience running regional workforce in FIFO arrangement
* Demonstrated experience in the successful management of complex construction infrastructure projects above $25M contract value
* Sound knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, contract management, and design management functions
