We are looking for a motivated and experienced Ecologist to join the team in our Wollongong office.
This role has been specifically designed for a consultant who is keen to jump into a long-term local monitoring project but also welcomes the opportunity to work on and project manage a diverse range of projects and deliver environmental and ecological solutions for our clients.
The scientific side of the role will see you scoping, managing, and undertaking ecological surveys and assessments, proposal and report writing, and project management. You will also assist with client liaison, office strategy, business development, and mentoring.
To be considered, you will need:
Relevant tertiary qualification 3+ years of ecological experience in NSW Working knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation Strong fauna and/or flora species knowledge and identification skills Experience with long-term monitoring projects Experience preparing environmental assessments and management plans.
