Role Overview
Bolton Clarke Group, one of Australia's largest independent not-for-profit providers of home care, retirement living and residential aged care, is recruiting a Cleaning Support Staff to join a team that delivers a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. The role is based at Bolton Clarke Rowes Bay, Townsville, and involves keeping all areas of the facility clean, maintained at a high standard and compliant with infection control practices.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
* Vacuum, mop and polish floors.
* Dust, polish and tidy general areas.
* Clean bathroom facilities.
* Maintain the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables, and other equipment or furniture in residents' rooms.
* Assist with providing a safe, efficient and hygienic care service.
* Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
Qualifications
* Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
* Willingness to take direction from others.
* Reliability and shift flexibility.
* Good time‐management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
* Valid working rights in Australia.
* Pre‐employment checks – completion of a National Police Check.
