Core Responsibilities & Duties
* Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study;
* Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students;
* Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development
* Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;
* Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
* Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
* Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
* Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
* Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
* Teach an area of the curriculum;
* Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress;
* Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan;
* Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
* Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.
About the Role
ACC Echuca is seeking to appoint a full-time Christian Primary Teacher. The successful candidate will need to have the capacity to:
* Actively lead the Christian formation of students;
* Actively lead in delivering Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith;
* Contribute to an inclusive approach to learning and a cross cultural understanding in our students;
* Develop an approach to education that is biblically grounded, Christ focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous. Preference would be given to teachers familiar with an Explicit Instruction model of teaching;
* Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop students' interests, skills and abilities; and
* Contribute to the school community by participating in staff meetings, extra-curricular tasks, and liaising with parents where appropriate.
About You
* You have a relevant bachelor degree and any other relevant teaching qualifications (i.e. Masters of Education).
* You have at least 2 years relevant teaching experience.
* You are passionate about impacting students' minds and hearts and for providing a safe, supportive learning environment.
* You are highly relational and committed to a holistic view of teaching and of student welfare.
* You are keen to collaborate with colleagues in developing and implementing teaching and learning programs.
* You have a servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.

Salary
* Salary range is $96,421 - $133,414 dependent upon relevant teaching qualifications and experiences.
