ResponsibilitiesAssist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable advice about garden products, stockfeed and related products.Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, ensuring that shelves are stocked, labeled, and visually appealing.Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.Handle inventory management, including receiving shipments, checking for damages, and restocking shelves.Build and maintain solid relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.Participate in promotional events and product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales.Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and ensure a positive shopping experience.QualificationsPrevious experience in retail or customer service is preferred.Knowledge of garden products stockfeed products is a plus; however, we will train the right candidate.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.Ability to lift heavy bags of feed and perform physical tasks as needed.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.Forklift license is a plus, or the willingness to be trained is a must.Employee discounts on products.A supportive and friendly work environment.If you have a passion for garden and animals and a desire to help customers make informed decisions about their stockfeed needs, we would love to hear from you!
