Knoxbrooke is a for-purpose NDIS service provider that creates employment, development and support opportunities for people with disability. We operate a leading wholesale plant nursery located in beautiful Mount Evelyn, Victoria. Producing a broad range of plants across our 2 sites, we have a variety of customers across South Eastern Australia including retailers, landscapers and construction firms. We are one of Australia's leading social enterprise organisations, providing supported employment and training opportunities for people living with disability, in a true commercial environment.
About the role
This full-time opportunity will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock information including assisting with the production planning process, monitoring stocks, producing weekly stock lists and managing pictorial labels. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-orientated as it helps to support the critical link between nursery production and sales.
What you'll do
* Assist the Production Planner to develop and implement the Production Plan
* Ensure accurate inventory line-item data is maintained within the inventory and production system (Evergreen Connect), and conduct regular and accurate inventory checks
* Conduct systematic 'stock walks' to review batch progress and update the system with stock availability for sale and key stock performance information.
* Take appropriate photos of stock and stock batches to be used for weekly marketing communications, websites etc.
* Identify stock lines for promotion and assist the sales team to prepare weekly communications to customers on stock availability and specials
* Assist with monitoring Commercial projects and provide reports on stock performance against project timings
* Manage the purchasing and stock control of pictorial labels
* Assist the Retail Merchandising Coordinator with selecting and allocating stock to be allocated and sold in the Retail Garden Centre.
About you
* Experience working within a wholesale plant nursery
* Demonstrated strong inventory systems knowledge (Evergreen Connect system knowledge is an advantage)
* A high level of detail orientation
* High level computer literacy
* Strong plant identification skills
* Proactive, solution focused team member
* Ability to communicate and build relationships with people of diverse abilities.
* A current Victorian drivers' licence
* Willingness to undertake a NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Evidence of the right to work in Australia
