At Nu-Pure Beverages, this is not a coordination role — it's a critical planning position that directly impacts equipment reliability, production performance, and site efficiency.
We are looking for a proven Maintenance Planner who can take ownership of planning, scheduling, and execution alignment across a fast‐paced manufacturing site.
If you understand what good looks like in maintenance planning and can deliver it, this is your opportunity to make a genuine impact.
About the Role
Based at our Stapylton manufacturing site, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and continuously improving the site's maintenance planning function.
You will build and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, coordinate labour and materials, and ensure all maintenance work is planned, prioritised, and executed efficiently.
This role sits at the centre of Maintenance and Production — ensuring work is not only completed but also done the right way, at the right time, with the right resources.
This role also manages the spare parts store function, ensuring critical components are available, well‐managed, and cost‐effective to support maintenance and production requirements, including stock levels, reordering, receipting, and issuing of parts.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling
* Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance plans
* Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and shutdown schedules
* Ensure all maintenance work is properly scoped, prioritised, and resourced
Execution & Coordination
* Coordinate labour, contractors, and materials to deliver planned work
* Align maintenance plans with production requirements to minimise disruption
* Support efficient execution of both planned and corrective maintenance
CMMS & Performance
* Own and maintain CMMS (MEX), including work orders, asset data, and schedules
* Track maintenance performance, downtime, and costs
* Analyse data and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Spare Parts Stores Management
Ensure critical spare parts are identified, available, and optimised.
Manage inventory levels, stock control, and supplier coordination.
* Work with suppliers to improve availability, pricing, and lead times
About You
You are an experienced Maintenance Planner who understands how to structure, prioritise, and execute maintenance in a high‐performance environment.
You bring a strong balance of technical understanding, planning discipline, and stakeholder influence.
To be successful, you will have:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner within FMCG, food, beverage, or high‐speed manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
* Hands‐on experience using CMMS systems (e.g. MEX)
* Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate maintenance activities across a live production environment
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across maintenance, production, and suppliers
* Analytical mindset with a focus on improving uptime, reliability, and performance
Highly regarded:
* Trade or technical qualification (Mechanical/Electrical)
* Experience coordinating contractors and shutdown activities
* Exposure to reliability engineering or asset lifecycle management
Why Join Nu-Pure?
* Play a key role in driving site performance and equipment reliability
* Be part of a growing Australian manufacturing business
* Work in a fast‐paced, high‐volume production environment
* Join a team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
* Opportunity to shape and mature the maintenance planning function
* Real scope to influence how maintenance is planned and executed on site
If you're a Maintenance Planner looking to step into a role with real ownership, influence, and impact, we'd like to hear from you.
