Our client is a successful and well-regarded Perth-based builder, working across Residential & Commercial projects.
Opportunity
In this newly established position, you will be responsible for managing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records using Xero. You will prepare monthly financial statements and follow up on overdue invoices.
End-to-end processing of weekly payroll
Maintain up-to-date financial records using Xero
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments
Generate and send client invoices and other expenses
Check overdue invoices and follow up on payments
Reconcile bank accounts, expense cards, petty cash, payroll accounts, and funding statements
Prepare monthly financial statements
Upload payments and assist with ad hoc finance duties as required
What we're looking for
3+ years working as a bookkeeper for a residential builder, building supplier or commercial contractor
Experience processing end-to-end payroll, accounts payable and receivables
Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Office/Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
