As an Intermediate Accountant at BRC Tax & Accounting, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients with quality taxation and business services. Working side-by-side with the Partner, you'll be exposed to all areas of accounting — from tax compliance and client advisory through to process improvement — in a firm that values growth, learning, and balance.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
* Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations across a variety of structures
* Liaise directly with clients to manage queries, deadlines, and documentation
* Work collaboratively with the Partner to ensure client work is completed accurately and on time
* Assist in refining internal systems and maintaining accuracy within accounting processes
* Participate in training and contribute to the firm's ongoing growth and improvement
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Chartered or Public Accounting Practice
* CA/CPA qualification completed or in progress
* Must have completed at least 50% of CA/CPA qualification requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
* Proficient with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
* Solid understanding of tax compliance and accounting principles
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding client service
* Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position
