The Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will be a crucial member of our dental team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced dentists and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Your duties will include preparing patients for dental procedures, assisting with a wide range of dental procedures, and ensuring that our dental equipment is properly sterilised and maintained. You will also have the opportunity to develop your communication skills as you interact with patients and help them feel comfortable during their dental appointments. When not engaging in clinical procedures, your duties will include aspects such as contact with our patients through phone, email and SMS, scheduling appointments, ensuring the patient record is current including monitoring pre-appointment paperwork, processing payments for appointments, necessary patient follow-up, and administrative tasks such as processing referrals. You'll be capable of planning and prioritising and resolving any conflicts which may arise. Importantly, you are confident in being a part of the dental team and you can communicate effectively regarding dental procedures.
