The Role:
As a Senior Producer at Popology, you are responsible for leading the planning and delivery of large-scale creative, event, and content projects. You will manage end-to-end production from initial brief through to final execution, ensuring excellence in creative translation, commercial management, and client experience.
Working across both events and content production, you will partner closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to bring ideas to life and deliver work that makes brands pop. You are a key conduit between clients, internal teams, and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest possible standard.
Reporting to the Executive Producer, you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring junior producers, maintaining process discipline, and supporting the continued growth of Popology's creative and production capabilities.
Core Responsibilities:
* Lead mid-to-large scale event and content projects end-to-end, from creative brief through to delivery.
* Build strong client relationships, acting as the day-to-day senior contact for allocated accounts.
* Translate creative ideas into executable production plans that ensure quality, feasibility, and innovation.
* Oversee budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure every project is delivered profitably and seamlessly.
* Anticipate and mitigate risks, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
* Manage project budgets and cost control with precision, maintaining margin targets.
* Accurately scope work, issue change requests, and forecast revenue and expenses.
* Negotiate supplier costs to achieve value without compromising creative outcomes.
* Support the Executive Producer in achieving agency gross profit targets across your portfolio.
* Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to interpret concepts into detailed production plans.
* Oversee content shoots, post-production, and live event execution with meticulous attention to detail.
* Ensure creative integrity is maintained throughout every stage of production.
* Champion innovation, identifying new technologies, materials, and approaches that enhance outcomes.
* Mentor and guide mid-level producers and coordinators, providing direction, feedback, and development opportunities.
* Acts as a role model across the production team, setting the benchmark for delivery, communication and professionalism.
* Act as a problem-solver and escalation point for project delivery challenges.

* Champion best-practice production systems and documentation across events and content.
* Maintain accurate project files, reconciliations, and post-project reviews.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including workflow optimisation and Popeye/PopOS usage.

The Ideal Candidate:
Experience:
* 4-5+ years as a Senior Event Manager or Senior Producer in similar creative event agencies. Specialising in live events and brand activations
Relationship Management:
* Exceptional skills in managing client and supplier relationships, focusing on clear communication and strong rapport.
Production Knowledge:
* Solid understanding of technical requirements and production processes related to events (build materials, production, AV/technical and print )
* Solid Understanding of graphic design requirements and creative processes, with an ability to write concepts and develop proposals
Organisational Skills:
* Highly motivated and results-driven, with outstanding organisational and time management abilities with get 's**t done attitude'
Passion for Events:
* A strong passion for event culture, with high energy and enthusiasm for bringing ideas to life. Thrives in dynamic, fast paced environments
Communication:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in clients and team members.
* Critical thinker, Proactive, confident in decision-making, and able to handle pressure while making sound judgments.
* Ability to develop creative proposals, write concepts, and conceptualise mood boards to communicate ideas visually.
