About the role
We are
seeking an experienced
IT Project Manager (12-Month Contract)
to support and deliver multiple critical infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives across our Australian operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in uplifting our technology environment and ensuring delivery of several high‑impact projects. You will be a proactive, organised project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, devliery-focused environment. You'll be comfortable working with technical details while communicating clearly with operational, cybersecurity, and executive stakeholders.
As the IT Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key IT projects across our data centre operations. You'll partner closely with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
Projects you will help deliver include:
* Network & IT infrastructure uplift across data centres
* Cybersecurity services rollout into OT
* DSPF process uplift
* Essential 8 maturity uplift (Level 2)
* CMMS / Asset Management implementation
Key Responsibilities
* Manage cost, schedule, and quality across multiple IT projects
* Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, and reporting frameworks
* Work closely with vendors for hardware procurement and implementation
* Deliver clear communication and status reporting to stakeholders
* Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in IT project management
* Strong commercial acumen and experience with IT procurement
* High attention to detail with strong time‑management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
* Proficiency with M365 and project management tools (PowerPoint, SharePoint ideal)
* Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma
are highly desirable
