This is a unique role with its mix of technical know-how and customer service focus, which supports our business, by providing customers an excellent experience – both before they buy and after they use our products and services. It is all about giving customers an easy, trouble free and enjoyable experience.
What You Will Enjoy Doing
* You take ownership of the region's growth and retention strategy, including volume targets and margin setting, strategic customer planning, and implement and maintain a structured call cycle and sales pipeline
* Maintaining a high level of customer focused activity, be out on the road serving your key customers as much as possible, you definitely do not like sitting in an office
* Responsible for Customer Management: Deliver market leading service and support to SPW's high value commercial customers in your region
* Furthermore, you will be self-generating New Business, take the lead in identifying, developing, and commercializing new customers to SPW
* You will skillfully move customers through the sales process by selling the value of SPW, utilizing negotiation and objection handling skills to navigate a win/win outcome for SPW and the customer
* In addition to this, you will collaborate closely with local branch staff fellow sales team members across, and industry stakeholders, to build a supporting network
* Maintaining relevant data in our system and producing coherent reports that demonstrate your knowledge and strategic plan for your region
What Makes You Great
* While demonstrated sales experience is valued, technical experience in welding and fabrication has a very strong appeal in consideration to the role
* Your strong desire to serve customers, motivation to deliver a high level of daily activity, and a passion for sales will aid you well in this position
* Enjoy being out of the office in front of people, you take initiative and are a self-starter with very good time management skills
* You'll be given a company vehicle, plus all tools of trade to operate autonomously
* You possess an excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent personal presentation
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision with excellent abilities to time manage and prioritize
* You want to own your own region's success, be responsible for significant customer revenue, be empowered to 'do the deal', and be hungry to win
* A clean and valid driver's license a must have
